CareManagement is a trusted and valued resource for case managers seeking information on the latest topics impacting case management practice today.

This issue of CareManagement is published by the Academy of Certified Case Managers (ACCM) and pre-approved by The Commission for 3 contact hours of continuing education.

This issue offers three CE activities covering Parkinson’s disease and the role of exercise, leadership development in case management, and strategies for helping families cope with the ambiguous loss associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

The goals of CareManagement are to provide certified case managers with timely information on emerging trends and initiatives, share practical insight from experienced case management professionals, and support ongoing professional development and recertification requirements. Ethics continuing education opportunities are also offered throughout the year.

ACCM members may complete the CE exams at no cost. Articles and exams are available online for six months from the publication date. A score of 80% or higher is required to earn 1 contact hour for each CE activity and receive a certificate of completion. Certificates may be printed immediately after successfully completing each exam.
