A Mission with a Method
Improving Case Management Practice Through Education
The Academy of Certified Case Managers (ACCM) has one mission—to improve case management practice through education. ACCM fulfills this mission by enabling its members to maintain their certification through a continuous stream of home study continuing education programs. New programs are published bi-monthly in CareManagement, the official journal of ACCM, CCMC, and a publication of CMSA.
Completion of these continuing education programs and their CE examinations allows ACCM members to receive Certificates of Completion that are accepted by the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) and the Certified Disability Management Specialists (CDMS) for certification maintenance purposes. Other case management certifying organizations may elect to accept ACCM courses as well, including the California Board of Registered Nurses.
CareManagement and its educational programs are available to ACCM members exclusively.
